WiDi not working.  How do I set up my domain to get it working?
We are attempting to implement Win 8.1 and WiDi at our new office build. It appears we have issues with the Domain blocking us out. Any advice on where to start is appreciated.

We have Dell laptops, Samsung Smart TV's, and an Epson Brightlink projector.  We suspected that we had the wrong wireless adapters, but we verified them all with Intel.  We also tried ScreenBeam from Actiontec and it had similar issues.  Actiontec were helpful in pointing out that the domain may be blocking, but we don't know if that is the real and only issue.

did you try to connect to Samsung smart TV or Epson projector without domain? or did you try to create domain with blank GPO to test? what is the result

but based on my experience, try to disable VPN client agent at WIFI properties, sometimes this will caused the issue, this is example with Juniper

Hi,

We hope your issue has been resolved

Refer to WDT Ops's answer in this thread, They took a completely blank group policy and applied it to the Surface and it worked. That was with the firewall OFF.
